World T'ai Chi Day

Saturday, April 26, 2008

Hiromi T’ai Chi gathered at the Fairview Farm near Crozet for World T’ai Chi Day Saturday, April 26. The event has been described as a healing wave that circles the globe, following the sun from east to west. Starting in New Zealand at 10:00 a.m. local time, T’ai Chi practicioners all over the world demonstrated their forms under the theme “One Earth, One Breath. Joe Sebastian offered his farm to hold this event. The setting was perfect, with a wonderful view of mountains around. Everyone enjoyed demonstrating the forms they learned and watching as others demonstrated different forms. Twenty students participated and enjoyed a delicious pot luck picnic and good company afterwards.
