Please read the information on class fees and policies before registering for classes at Hiromi T’ai Chi (HTC). To register at other locations, please contact the locations and register directly.
Class Schedules

Class Fees
Cheng-Ming and Ch’i Kung Track
Class card is valid for 12 weeks from the date of purchase.

Group Practice Fees: Free if you are taking a class. $10 for drop-in. No new instruction will be given. See the Cheng-Ming Track page for group practice times.

* $10 for the instructor’s transportation fee is included for classes conducted outside of the dojo.
Cancellation fee: All notifications of cancellation or rescheduling must be received 24 hours prior to the scheduled start time of your lesson. Standard fee will be charged if cancellation is made with less notice than outlined above.
Class Policies

Class size policy: Classes will be held with minimum number of 4 students.
Payment policy: In order for us to keep offering the reasonable class fees, please keep track of your payment and the due date. All fees are due in advance.
New students: Please mail a check and registration form before your first class to Hiromi T’ai Chi, #110 Michie Building, 609 E. Market St., Charlottesville, VA 22902. You may also bring the check and registration form with you to your first class.
Continuing students: It is the student’s responsibility to make sure the fee is paid before your Class Card expires.
PayPal payment option: As a convenience, you have the option of paying for classes by using PayPal (or a major credit card accepted by PayPal). See the Online Payments page for details.
Refunds: A course fee refund is available up to the third class. The refund will be the total Class Card fee minus a $25 registration fee and $18/class attended up to the third class. After three classes are held, no refunds are given.

Cancellation / Missed Class Policies
Class schedules are subject to change and/or cancellation without notice due to insufficient participant levels or inclement weather conditions.
Cancellation information will be posted at the top of this website in the right sidebar below the Search box. You may also call (877) 880-2479 for class cancellation information.
If your class is cancelled by an HTC instructor, the validation date on your Class Card will be extended by one week.
If you need to miss a class, you may make up that class on a different day any time before your current Class Card expires. If you need to miss the last class on your Class Card, please contact your instructor for make up options.

Inclement Weather Conditions
When Charlottesville City Schools open 2 hours late due to weather, all morning programs will be canceled. Cancellation information about the afternoon classes will be posted at the top of this website in the right sidebar below the Search box. You may also call (877) 880-2479 for class cancellation information.
When Charlottesville City Schools are closed due to weather, all classes for that day will be canceled.
The Charlottesville City School closing information hotline (found at http://www.ccs.k12.va.us/schools/school-closings.html) is 434-245-2401.
If your class is cancelled due to weather, the validation date on your Class Card will be extended by one week.
For classes at other locations (see below), please follow their cancellation policy.

- Download and print out a registration form. [PDF format]
- Complete the registration form.
- Make checks payable to “Hiromi T’ai Chi”.
- Mail the form with payment to HTC (see the Contact Us address in right sidebar)

Directions: HTC is in the Old Michie building across from SNL. Please enter through the 7th Street entrance.
Parking: Free two hour parking rules apply for most of the surrounding streets between 8am and 6pm. Two hour validated parking is also available in the parking deck on Market Street next to the police station, or in the SNL lot on 7th Street on Saturdays and Sundays.
